The right fared even better for the Guard, losing only 5 men and then winning the combat make things look shaky for the Space Elves. ![]() Turn 1 went to the Eldar and they predictably advanced to get within that 12” range so they could let rip with their Shuriken Catapults.Įldar firepower devastated the Guard’s left flank, but their charge and assault was less that effective enabling the platoon’s Command Section to hold the centre. I had to fudge some things to fit on my 2’x2’ board, but since this was my first game of 3rd edition ever (I think) I wasn’t too worried. The scenario I attempted was a Raid on a fuel dump. ![]() ![]() Using the 3rd edition rule book which has mini codexes for each 40k faction released at the time. A dead game or older edition of a tabletop game never truly dies, so long as you have the figures and the rules you can relive and replay whatever you want! Hence today’s post – Imperial Guard (definitely not Astra Militarum) vs Eldar (definitely not Aeldari). ![]()
